The North Face Quest Jacket is designed for adult women who need a reliable, lightweight outer shell for hiking and unpredictable weather. Featuring the brand's signature DryVent technology, this jacket offers excellent waterproof and windproof protection while maintaining breathability through its mesh body lining; however, users should note that as a lightweight shell, it is best utilized as a layering piece rather than a primary source of heavy insulation in sub-zero temperatures.

No, the Quest Jacket features a fixed hood for better water and wind protection.
The Quest Jacket is a protective shell, not an insulated parka. It is best used as an outer layer over insulating sweaters or fleece.
DryVent is The North Face's proprietary technology that is waterproof, windproof, and breathable, allowing interior moisture to escape while blocking exterior rain.
Yes, you can machine wash it on a gentle cycle. Use a technical detergent and avoid fabric softeners to protect the waterproof finish.
No, this specific model features two external zipped hand pockets for storage.
You can use the integrated shock cord at the hem to cinch the jacket tighter to your body, preventing cold air from entering from below.
The DWR coating may have worn off. Re-apply a DWR spray treatment to the outer fabric to restore the water-beading effect.
Ensure the internal storm flap is pulled away from the zipper track when zipping up. Do not force the zipper; back it out and pull the fabric taut before trying again.
To ensure the longevity of your Quest Jacket, always check that the zippers are fully closed and all shock cords are loosened before storage. The jacket is designed for standard female sizing; it fits as a versatile outer layer over most mid-layers. For care, wash the jacket in cold water on a gentle cycle using a mild, technical-fabric-safe detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can strip the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating from the shell. Tumble dry on a low setting or hang to air dry away from direct heat sources to maintain the integrity of the seam sealing.
