DryVent 2L refers to a two-layer waterproof and breathable technology used in the jacket's construction. It provides a durable, waterproof outer layer while allowing internal moisture vapor to escape.
The Antora Jacket is primarily designed for rain and wind protection. For very cold weather, it is best used as an outer shell layered over insulating mid-layers like fleece or down.
You can spot clean minor mud stains with a damp cloth. For a full wash, follow the machine wash instructions: cold, with like colors, powder detergent, and tumble dry low.
No, the hood is attached and features a three-piece construction with an elasticated rain guard tunnel for a snug fit.
The non-PFC DWR finish is a water-repellent treatment applied to the fabric's surface that helps water bead up and roll off, keeping the outer material from becoming saturated. 'Non-PFC' indicates it uses environmentally friendlier chemicals.
The hand pockets are secure-zip pockets, designed to keep contents dry from light splashes and rain. However, they are not intended for submersion.
The DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish may have worn off. Reapply a DWR treatment suitable for waterproof-technical fabrics according to product instructions. Ensure the jacket is clean before application.
Ensure the fabric around the zipper is clear. Gently pull the zipper up and down. If it remains stiff, apply a small amount of wax (like a candle or beeswax) to the zipper teeth.
This can happen if the breathable membrane is overwhelmed by high activity levels or if the garment needs cleaning. Ensure the jacket is clean and dry. For very high exertion, consider layering with moisture-wicking base layers.
Setup: This jacket requires no setup; it is ready to wear out of the package.
Compatibility: Suitable for unisex children's wear in size 7 Years. It is designed to be worn over regular clothing layers.
Care Instructions: To maintain the jacket's waterproof and breathable properties:
