Dulux Metal & Wood Paint - Black - 750Ml

This paint is designed for use on both metal and wood surfaces, making it versatile for various projects around your home.

The paint is formulated for a single-coat application to provide full color and protection. Ensure an even and sufficient coat for best results.

It takes approximately 16 hours for this paint to fully dry. Please allow ample drying time before handling or using the painted surface.

On average, you can expect to cover up to 1 m² per litre. The 750ml tin will cover roughly 0.75 m².

You can apply this paint using either a brush or a roller, depending on the surface and your preference, to achieve a smooth finish.

While the description highlights its durable and long-lasting finish and additional protection, always ensure surfaces are properly prepared for outdoor conditions (e.g., rust removal for metal, appropriate primer for wood) to maximize longevity.

> Info needed: [Please refer to the product label for specific cleaning instructions, as it will specify if white spirit or another cleaner is required for solvent-based paints.]

Ensure adequate ventilation in the painting area, as poor air circulation can significantly extend drying times. Check the ambient temperature and humidity; very cold or humid conditions will also slow drying. Confirm that the paint was applied as a single, even coat, as thick application can prevent proper curing.

Ensure the surface was properly prepared (clean, smooth, and dry). Use a good quality brush or roller appropriate for gloss paint. Apply the paint evenly, working in one direction, and avoid overworking the paint as it begins to set. Avoid applying in direct sunlight or on very hot surfaces.

While designed for one-coat application, extremely porous surfaces or dramatic color changes (if not using black over a dark surface) might occasionally absorb more paint. Ensure the surface was primed if necessary. Apply the recommended single coat evenly and generously. If absolutely required, a *very thin* second coat can be applied *only after* the first coat has fully dried (16 hours).
