The ASICS GEL-1130 is primarily designed as a lifestyle and casual shoe, offering comfort and style for everyday wear. While they provide good support for walking, they are not engineered for high-performance running or intense sports activities.
ASICS generally offers consistent sizing. We recommend selecting your usual UK shoe size for the best fit. If you are unsure, referring to the ASICS size chart or trying them on is advised.
The shoe features a durable rubber bottom for the outsole and updated synthetic leather inserts for the upper, combined with other textile components to create its distinctive look and feel.
No, machine washing is not recommended as it can damage the materials and adhesives. Please follow the care instructions for spot cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap.
As part of the GEL-1000 series heritage, the GEL-1130 is designed with comfort in mind and provides adequate arch support for casual wear. For specific orthotic needs, consult with a specialist.
While stylish, white shoes generally require more frequent cleaning. Regular wiping with a damp cloth and prompt treatment of any stains will help maintain their fresh appearance.
These sneakers may require a short break-in period. Wear them for brief periods initially to allow the materials to conform to your foot. Ensure you are wearing appropriate socks.
For light dirt, wipe immediately with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a small amount of mild soap or a shoe cleaner specifically for synthetic materials, then wipe clean and air dry. Consider applying a stain protector spray before first use.
This can sometimes occur if the insole rubs against the inside of the shoe. Try removing the insole, lightly dusting the area underneath with talcum powder, and then reinserting the insole.
Ensure the outsole is clean of any debris, mud, or oil that might be reducing traction. Regularly clean the tread pattern with a brush and water to maintain its effectiveness.
No complex setup is required for the ASICS GEL-1130 sneakers; simply unbox, lace them up to your desired tightness, and wear. They are compatible with standard casual and athletic socks. For care, wipe down the synthetic leather and rubber outsole with a damp cloth using mild soap for dirt and minor scuffs. Avoid harsh cleaning agents or machine washing. For deeper cleaning, use a specialized shoe cleaner designed for synthetic materials. Allow the shoes to air dry completely at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, which can damage materials. Regularly inspect laces for wear and replace as needed.
