No, the Neptune Long series is specifically designed with a small-calf fit in mind.
The boots feature a 7cm block heel.
Regularly clean with a soft cloth and apply a red-pigmented leather conditioner to maintain the color and suppleness.
While leather is durable, avoid heavy downpours. If they become soaked, dry them naturally; do not place them near a radiator or heater.
Yes, they follow standard UK sizing for adult footwear, but the calf-fit is the primary factor to consider for comfort.
The boots feature high-quality materials consistent with the Jones Bootmaker: Tailor Made standards, typically utilizing durable man-made or leather-composite soles for grip.
Ensure your leg is relaxed and the skin is not caught in the zip guard; if the zipper feels stiff, rub a small amount of paraffin wax or a graphite pencil lead along the teeth.
Use a matching red leather polish or color-restorative cream to buff out minor surface scuffs and restore the vibrancy of the material.
Because these are made from premium leather, proper care is essential to maintain their deep red hue. Use a high-quality leather cream or polish specifically formulated for red leather to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Always store them in a cool, dry place, ideally using boot trees to help maintain the structure of the long shaft. When putting them on, ensure the zipper is fully open to avoid unnecessary tension on the fastener. If they get wet, wipe them dry immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth and allow them to air-dry naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent the leather from hardening.
