The Neptune series is crafted with a standard fit; if you have particularly wide feet, you may find the leather needs a short breaking-in period or may require professional stretching.
While the leather is durable, it is not waterproof. We recommend applying a water-repellent leather spray before exposure to wet conditions.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth for daily cleaning and a dedicated red leather polish periodically to keep the color vibrant.
The 7cm block heel is designed for stability and comfort; however, personal comfort levels vary, so consider wearing them for shorter periods initially to allow your feet to adjust.
The calf width is proportional to the size but is specifically categorized as a 'small calf fit' across the Neptune Long range.
Gently rub a candle or a specialized zipper lubricant along the teeth to improve movement.
Apply a high-quality leather cream or polish matched to the red tone to restore moisture and luster.
Since these are designed for a small calf fit, ensure you are wearing thin hosiery; if persistent, consult a cobbler for professional stretching options.
To ensure the longevity of your Neptune boots, treat them as you would any fine leather product. Before the first wear, consider applying a leather protector spray to guard against water spots and minor scuffs. Given the small calf fit, verify your measurements against the boot dimensions to ensure comfort. After each use, wipe away dust with a dry cloth and store the boots upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the leather from drying out or fading. If they become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources such as radiators, as heat can cause the leather to crack.
