Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Mcleod Hiking Shoes last through many seasons, begin by verifying your fit; since these are a wide fit, ensure your heel does not slip when walking. For maintenance, keep the polyester uppers clean by brushing off dried mud after every trip. If the shoes become heavily soiled, wash them by hand using lukewarm water and a soft-bristled brush. Never machine wash or tumble dry these shoes, as the heat can compromise the adhesive bonding the sole to the upper. Always air dry your shoes in a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the material to warp or crack.
