Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Mcleod Hiking Shoes provide long-term service, perform the following maintenance routines:
- Cleaning: After muddy hikes, allow the mud to dry, then brush it off with a soft-bristled brush. Use a damp cloth for stubborn stains; do not machine wash.
- Drying: Air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Avoid placing them near direct heat sources like radiators or fireplaces, as high heat can damage the synthetic mesh and adhesives.
- Fit Check: Ensure the bungee cord is tightened evenly across the bridge of the foot to maintain support. If the shoe feels loose, adjust the toggle to secure the lock.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to prevent material degradation.
