Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Mcleod boots last, proper maintenance is essential.
- Initial Fit: When you first receive your boots, wear them indoors with the socks you plan to use for hiking to ensure the fit is correct.
- Cleaning: After muddy hikes, remove loose dirt with a soft brush once the boots have dried. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the exterior.
- Storage: Always store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources, which can degrade the materials and cushioning.
- Care: Avoid fully submerging the boots in water. If they become soaked, air-dry them naturally by stuffing them with newspaper to retain their shape.
