FAQs
Are these shoes truly hands-free?
Yes, the Skechers Bounder Slip-Ins are designed with patented Heel Pillow™ technology to allow for easy, hands-free entry and exit. Your child can simply step in and go.
Can my child wear these for sports or running?
These shoes are excellent for everyday wear, light activity, and casual play due to their comfort and support. For intense sports or specialized athletic training, dedicated sports shoes designed for those activities would provide better performance and protection.
How do I clean these sneakers?
These Skechers Bounder sneakers are machine washable. We recommend washing them on a gentle cycle with cold water, placing them in a laundry bag, and then letting them air dry completely. Do not tumble dry.
What is the Air-Cooled Memory Foam® Insole?
It's a specialized insole that provides superior cushioning and breathability. It molds to your child's foot shape for personalized comfort and helps keep feet cool.
Is the adaptive closure system adjustable?
The adaptive closure system is designed to provide a secure and flexible fit. While some may feature traditional laces for adjustment, others have elasticized bands or hook-and-loop straps to offer a customized feel for various foot types.
What age group are these shoes for?
These Skechers Bounder sneakers are part of the 'kids' age group collection, designed specifically for children.
Troubleshooting
My child's foot feels loose or slips out of the shoe.
Ensure you have the correct size. The adaptive closure system should be snug, but not overly tight. The Heel Pillow™ is designed to hold the foot, so if it feels loose, double-check the sizing. Consider adding a thin sock or trying a half-size down if available.
The shoes don't feel as comfortable after washing.
Make sure the shoes were air-dried completely and thoroughly. Sometimes insoles can shift during washing; ensure the Air-Cooled Memory Foam® insole is properly seated inside the shoe. Avoid high heat during drying as it can affect materials.
Difficulty with hands-free entry.
Ensure your child is sliding their foot straight into the shoe. Sometimes new shoes need a few wears to fully 'break in' and become more flexible. Also, confirm the shoes are not too small, which can make hands-free entry challenging.

Care Instructions
To keep your Skechers Bounder Slip-Ins looking and feeling great, follow these simple care steps:
- Machine Wash: Place shoes in a laundry bag or pillowcase to protect them during the wash cycle.
- Cold Cycle: Wash on a gentle cycle with cold water.
- Mild Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh cleaning agents.
- Air Dry: DO NOT put shoes in the dryer. Allow them to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area, away from direct heat or sunlight. Stuffing them with paper towels can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
