This guide is for parents looking for comfortable and easy-to-wear trainers for their children. The key benefit is the hands-free slip-in design, allowing kids to put them on independently. A potential consideration is that the fixed stretch laces are not adjustable. The Skechers Slip-ins: Bounder Pro - Step One Sneaker offers all-day comfort with a supportive Heel Pillow®, a breathable mesh and synthetic upper, and a responsive Skechers Air-Cooled Memory Foam® insole, making it ideal for active kids.

Skechers Slip-ins® feature a unique design with a padded 'Heel Pillow®' that holds the foot in place, allowing you to step in without needing to use your hands. The shoe's structure keeps it securely on your foot once on.
These trainers are designed for a standard fit. While the slip-in design offers some flexibility, they may not be ideal for children with significantly wide feet, as the laces are fixed and not adjustable for a wider fit.
The Skechers Slip-ins: Bounder Pro - Step One features fixed stretch laces that provide a secure fit without the need for tying. They are not designed to be adjusted.
These shoes are machine washable. Use a gentle cycle with cold water and then air dry them. Avoid using a dryer.
This is a comfort technology that provides cushioning and breathability. The foam contours to your foot for personalized comfort and has perforations to allow air circulation, keeping feet cooler.
The Heel Pillow® is a soft, supportive cushioning feature integrated into the heel collar of Slip-ins® shoes. It ensures a comfortable and secure fit, preventing the heel from slipping out.
Yes, the Skechers Slip-ins: Bounder Pro are designed for active use and offer good cushioning and support, making them suitable for general sports and running activities for children.
While the laces are fixed, ensure the correct size is purchased. The Heel Pillow® is designed to provide a secure fit. If there's significant discomfort, consider trying a different model with adjustable laces.
Ensure the heel is fully depressed into the Heel Pillow®. Sometimes a slight wiggle or a shoe horn can assist initially until the shoe conforms to the foot.
Allow shoes to air dry completely between uses. Machine washing as per instructions can also help eliminate odors. Baking soda can be used inside dry shoes to absorb odor.
Avoid excessive abrasion against rough surfaces. If machine washing, use a garment bag to protect the mesh.
Setup: These shoes require no setup. Simply slip them on.
Compatibility: Designed for children's feet, suitable for general athletic and casual wear.
