FAQs
What does 'Hands Free Slip-Ins' mean?
This innovative Skechers feature allows your child to put on their shoes effortlessly without bending down or using their hands. The unique design, including the Heel Pillow, cradles the foot for easy, smooth entry.
Is the Air-Cooled Memory Foam insole removable?
The Air-Cooled Memory Foam insole is integrated into the shoe's design to provide consistent comfort and support. It is not designed to be removable by the user.
How do I clean these sneakers?
These sneakers are machine washable. Place them in a laundry bag, wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and a mild detergent, then air dry completely away from direct heat.
Are these shoes suitable for wide feet?
The product information does not specify width options. For the best fit, it is recommended to have your child try them on or compare their foot measurements to a Skechers sizing guide for standard fit.
Can boys wear these sneakers?
While these sneakers are listed for female, the functional design and 'Simple Cute' style of the Skechers Bounder can be suitable for any child, regardless of gender, who fits the size and enjoys the features.
What is the Heel Pillow?
The Heel Pillow is a specialized comfort component located at the back of the shoe. It helps to securely hold your child's foot in place for a snug fit while enabling the hands-free slip-in experience.
What age group are these shoes for?
These Skechers Bounder sneakers are designed for kids. The specific size for this variant is a UK 4 for children.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too tight or too loose.
Verify the correct size. Kids' feet grow quickly, so re-measure if needed. Ensure socks are not too thick or thin for the desired fit. While bungee laces are adaptive, they are not adjustable like traditional laces.
Insoles feel less cushioned over time.
The Air-Cooled Memory Foam® is designed for lasting comfort. Ensure shoes are clean and dry. If the cushioning sensation diminishes significantly, it might indicate normal wear and tear over extended use, especially for active children.
Shoes get dirty quickly from play.
Utilize the machine washable feature. Follow the care instructions carefully: machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent, then air dry completely. Regular cleaning will keep them fresh.
