FAQs

How long does it take to set up the Lay-Z-Spa Paris AirJet?

Setup typically takes around 20-30 minutes for inflation and connecting the pump. Filling with water can take several hours depending on your water source pressure.

What is the maximum number of people the Lay-Z-Spa Paris AirJet can accommodate?

The Lay-Z-Spa Paris AirJet is designed for comfort for up to 4 people.

Can I leave the Lay-Z-Spa Paris AirJet outside in winter?

Yes, the Freeze Shield™ technology is specifically designed for year-round use, protecting against freezing temperatures. However, ensure it is powered and functioning correctly during cold snaps.

How do I maintain water clarity and hygiene?

Regularly test and balance your water's pH and alkalinity. Use the included ChemConnect™ dispenser to maintain a consistent chlorine level. Clean or replace the filter cartridge regularly and periodically drain and clean the entire tub.

What is the warranty period for the Lay-Z-Spa Paris AirJet?

The warranty details can vary, but typically Bestway offers a limited warranty on inflatable spas, usually covering structural defects for a period such as 6 months for the liner and 1 year for the pump and electronic components. Please refer to your product manual or Bestway's official website for specific warranty information.

Does the Lay-Z-Spa Paris AirJet come with a ground cloth?

The Lay-Z-Spa Paris AirJet includes a soft cushioned base for comfort. A separate ground cloth is recommended for added protection of the underside, especially when placed on rough surfaces, but is often sold separately.

Troubleshooting

Spa not inflating correctly

Ensure the inflation valve is fully open and that the pump is set to the correct inflation mode. Check for any leaks by listening for hissing sounds or applying soapy water to seams.

Water not heating

Verify that the power is on and the temperature setting is correct (above ambient). Check if the power-saving timer is activated and configured appropriately. Ensure the filter is not blocked, as this can restrict water flow.

AirJet massage not working

Confirm that the AirJet function is activated on the control panel. Ensure the water level is within the operational range specified in the manual; the AirJets require a certain water depth to function correctly.

Error codes displayed on control panel

Consult the product manual for a specific list of error codes and their meanings. Common codes relate to water flow, heating issues, or sensor malfunctions that may require troubleshooting steps outlined in the manual.

Cloudy or discolored water

This usually indicates a water balance issue. Test the water's pH and alkalinity, adjust as needed, and ensure proper chlorine levels are maintained using the ChemConnect™ dispenser. Clean or replace the filter cartridge.

Versatile with 7 color LED lighting options to set the mood.
Suitable for year-round use thanks to Freeze Shield™ technology.
Energy-efficient design with a power-saving timer.
Durable and comfortable construction.

Cons

Performance may be affected by ambient temperature during cold weather.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Assembly is designed to be straightforward and self-adhesive. First, choose a flat, stable surface and inflate the spa using the heater pump. Connect the pump and filter system, then fill the liner with water. Once filled, attach the heater pump, connect the ChemConnect™ dispenser, and inflate the protective cover. Follow the included instructions carefully for precise steps. The approximate inflated size is 196cm x 66cm.

Compatibility: The Lay-Z-Spa Paris AirJet requires a standard grounded electrical outlet for operation. Ensure the location can support the weight of the filled spa (approximately 1,100 kg or 2,426 lbs when full with water, excluding occupant weight).

Care: Regular maintenance is key for longevity and water quality. Clean the filter cartridge weekly or more often if heavily used. Use the ChemConnect™ dispenser to maintain an appropriate chlorine level (1-3 ppm). Periodically drain and clean the spa liner with a mild soap and water solution, ensuring it is completely dry before deflation. Protect the spa from extreme weather when not in use, especially during prolonged periods of non-operation in winter, using the provided cover and possibly additional insulation.
