FAQs

How long does it take to heat the water?

Heating time depends on the starting water temperature and the ambient temperature. It can take several hours to reach the maximum temperature of 40°C.

How often should I change the water?

Water changes depend on usage and water chemistry. As a general guideline, change the water every 1-3 months or when the water becomes difficult to keep clean.

What chemicals do I need?

You will need chlorine or bromine sanitizers, pH balancers, and a shock treatment. Consult your local spa retailer for recommendations.

How do I clean the filter?

Remove the filter cartridge, rinse it with a garden hose, and clean with a filter cleaner. Replace the filter every 2-4 weeks or as needed.

Can I use the spa in winter?

Yes, the Freeze Shield technology helps prevent freezing. However, proper winterization is recommended in extremely cold climates.

What is the warranty?

The Lay-Z-Spa Santorini HydroJet Pro comes with up to a 2-year warranty. Refer to the product documentation for details.

How do I deflate the spa?

Locate the drain valve and open it. Use the air release valve to deflate the spa walls completely.

Troubleshooting

Spa is not heating.

Check the power supply, ensure the heater is activated in the control panel, and verify the water temperature settings.

AirJets or HydroJets are not working.

Check the pump for blockages, ensure the jets are properly connected, and clean or replace the filter cartridge.

Error messages on the display panel.

Refer to the user manual for specific error codes and troubleshooting steps. Contact customer support if the issue persists.

Water is cloudy.

Test and adjust water chemistry, clean or replace the filter, and shock the spa with the appropriate chemicals.

App connectivity issues.

Ensure the spa and your device are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. Restart the app and the spa's control panel. Check for app updates.
