Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from loose material, dust, and grease. Any flaking paint should be removed. Fill cracks or holes with appropriate filler and sand smooth. For bare plaster or absorbent surfaces, dilute the first coat with up to 10% clean water.
- Stirring: Thoroughly stir the paint before and during use to ensure a consistent colour and finish.
- Application: Apply with a brush or roller. For best results, use a good quality synthetic brush or a medium pile roller. Apply two coats, allowing adequate drying time between coats.
Compatibility
This paint is specifically formulated for interior walls and ceilings. It is suitable for application over existing emulsion paints, plaster, and plasterboard. Avoid using on surfaces not intended for emulsion paint, such as wood or metal without appropriate priming.
Care
Once dry, the painted surface is durable and washable. To clean, gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth using a mild, non-abrasive detergent if necessary. Avoid harsh scrubbing or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the matt finish. For stubborn grease marks, a gentle, diluted degreaser can be used, followed by wiping with clean water and drying with a soft cloth.
