This Mountain Warehouse Childrens/Kids Polar Zone Printed Jacket & Salopettes Set is designed for active children needing reliable outerwear for cooler weather. Its key benefit is providing warmth and water resistance in a comfortable, two-piece outfit. A potential consideration is that the snug fit might require sizing up for layering over bulkier clothing. The set includes a jacket and salopettes, both made from 100% polyester with a fleece lining for insulation, featuring water-resistant and PFC-free fabric technology.

The set is made from 100% Polyester, with a Fleece lining for added warmth.
The set features a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, making it water-resistant, suitable for light rain or snow, but not fully waterproof for heavy downpours.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water, wash with similar colors, do not bleach, and tumble dry on a low heat setting.
The hood is fleece-lined and has an elasticated design for a snug fit, but it does not have separate drawstrings for adjustment.
'PFC Free' means the water-repellent treatment on the fabric does not use perfluorinated chemicals, which are considered more environmentally friendly.
The set provides good insulation with its fleece lining and water resistance. For very cold conditions, it is recommended to layer with warm base layers underneath.
The jacket features two side pockets.
Ensure the fabric stormflap is not caught in the zipper. Gently pull the fabric away from the zipper track. If needed, a small amount of graphite (from a pencil) rubbed on the teeth can help lubricate it.
Check that all zippers and fastenings are fully closed. Ensure the DWR (water-resistant) finish is still effective; if not, consider a re-waterproofing treatment suitable for polyester clothing.
Ensure the garment is being washed and dried according to care instructions. Avoid high heat drying, which can damage fleece fibers. Gentle washing and air drying can help maintain softness.
