FAQs
How do I choose the correct size for my child?
Havaianas uses a unique sizing system. You should consider the BR/Supplier size as equivalent to the EU size. It is recommended to measure your child's foot and compare it to the product's sizing chart, paying attention to the EU size displayed.
Are these flip-flops suitable for swimming?
While these flip-flops are water-resistant and suitable for use around pools or at the beach, they are not designed as performance swim footwear. They are best for walking and casual wear in wet environments.
Can these be worn in the shower?
Yes, their water-resistant and non-slip properties make them suitable for use in showers, especially in communal areas like swimming pools or gyms.
How durable are the straps?
The straps are made of PVC, which is known for its durability and resistance to wear and tear, making them suitable for active children.
What is the sole made of?
The sole is made of rubber, designed for comfort, durability, lightness, heat resistance, non-slip properties, and water resistance.
Can these be machine washed?
No, machine washing is not recommended. Cleaning with a damp cloth is the preferred method to maintain the integrity and appearance of the flip-flops.
Troubleshooting
Flip-flops feel too tight or loose.
Refer to the sizing guide. Havaianas' BR/Supplier size often corresponds to the EU size. Check the product sole against your child's foot measurement, considering a snug but comfortable fit.
Straps cause mild irritation.
Ensure the straps are clean and dry. Sometimes, a brief break-in period is needed. If irritation persists, consider a different style or ensure the size is correct.
Color appears to fade.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and harsh chemicals. Clean gently with a damp cloth and allow to air dry away from heat.
