FAQs
How do I determine the correct size for my child?
When purchasing Havaianas flip-flops, consider the BR/Supplier size as equivalent to the EU size. It's recommended to check the specific sizing chart provided or compare the child's foot length to the sole measurements if available.
Are these flip-flops suitable for swimming?
Yes, the rubber sole is water-resistant and the material is suitable for use around pools and in water. However, they are not designed as swimming fins or for prolonged underwater use.
Can these be worn by boys as well?
While the product description specifies 'Girl's Flip Flops', the design and colorway (White/Pink Flux) might also be suitable for boys depending on personal preference and style.
How durable are the straps?
The straps are made of PVC, which is known for its durability and resistance to wear and tear, making them suitable for active children.
Can I put these in a washing machine?
It is not recommended to machine wash these flip-flops. Hand washing with a damp cloth is the best method for cleaning.
What is the sole made of?
The sole is made of rubber, providing comfort, durability, and water resistance.
Are these flip-flops good for everyday school wear?
These are best suited for casual wear, beach, or pool days. For school, depending on the dress code, sturdier footwear with more support might be required.
Troubleshooting
Flip-flops feel too tight or rub the toes/straps.
Ensure the correct size is selected. Sometimes, wearing them for short periods can help break them in. If the issue persists, consider a larger size.
Sole seems slippery after getting wet.
While designed to be non-slip, very wet surfaces can still reduce traction. Dry the soles and the walking surface when possible. Ensure the correct size is worn to prevent the foot from sliding forward.
Discoloration on straps or sole.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high heat, which can cause discoloration. Clean with a damp cloth as per care instructions.
