FAQs
How do I determine the correct size for my Havaianas Slim Disney flip-flops?
Havaianas use Brazilian/Supplier sizing. You should consult the specific size chart provided by the retailer, which usually includes a conversion to EU and UK sizes. Generally, the EU size is equivalent to the Brazilian size displayed on the sole.
Are these flip-flops suitable for wide feet?
The 'Slim' model features a narrower design. If you have wider feet, you might find a more comfortable fit with Havaianas' 'Brasil Logo' or 'Top' models, which typically have a wider sole and strap.
Can I wear these in the shower or swimming pool?
Yes, the rubber sole is water-resistant and provides a non-slip grip, making them suitable for use in showers, around swimming pools, and at the beach.
How should I clean my Havaianas flip-flops?
Clean them with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher dirt, you can wash them with mild soap and water, then rinse and let them air dry.
Will the Disney characters on the sole fade?
With proper care and avoiding excessive abrasion or harsh chemicals, the printed designs should remain vibrant. Rinsing after exposure to salt water or chlorine can help preserve the print.
What is the sole made of?
The sole is made of rubber, which provides comfort, durability, and a non-slip surface.
Can these be used for strenuous activities or hiking?
No, these flip-flops are designed for casual wear and light activities. They do not provide the support or protection needed for hiking or strenuous exercise.
Troubleshooting
Flip-flops feel too tight or loose.
Refer to the sizing guide for accurate conversion between Brazilian/Supplier and EU/UK sizes. If still an issue, consider exchanging for a different size based on the guide.
Straps causing discomfort or chafing.
Wear the flip-flops for short periods initially to break them in. Ensure the straps are clean and free of debris. Applying a small amount of talcum powder can sometimes help.
Discoloration after exposure to water.
Rinse with fresh water after use in salt or chlorinated water. Allow to air dry naturally.
