Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Wearing: Ensure the `ADIKNIT` sock component is properly aligned with your foot. Gently pull on the boot, ensuring your heel settles securely into the heel cup. Lace the boots firmly but comfortably, avoiding over-tightening which can restrict circulation.
- Break-in Period: Like all new football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Wear them for a few light training sessions before a full match to allow the materials to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically engineered for soft ground (SG) pitches. This includes natural grass fields that are wet, muddy, or generally softer due to weather conditions. Using them on artificial turf (AG), firm ground (FG), or hard ground (HG) surfaces is not recommended as it can damage the studs, compromise performance, and potentially lead to injury.
Care
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, especially on muddy pitches, gently knock off excess mud. Use a soft brush and water to clean the upper, soleplate, and studs. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbing pads.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdry, as this can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag to protect them from dust and damage. Placing newspaper inside can help absorb moisture and maintain shape.
- Stud Inspection: Regularly check the studs for wear or damage. While these boots feature a specialist fixed stud configuration, ensuring they are free from debris is important for optimal traction.
