Setup
- Preparation: Ensure your football socks are clean and free of wrinkles.
- Donning the Boots: Loosen the laces generously. Gently pull open the tongue area and slide your foot into the boot, ensuring the `ADIKNIT` sock component fits snugly around your ankle without bunching.
- Lacing: Begin lacing from the bottom, pulling each section tight enough for a secure fit, but not so tight that it causes discomfort. The `ADIKNIT` sock provides much of the lockdown, so overtightening the laces isn't necessary.
- Final Adjustment: Tie your laces securely to prevent them from coming undone during play. Walk around to confirm a comfortable, locked-in feel.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically engineered for Soft Ground (SG) pitches. This includes natural grass fields that are wet, muddy, or heavily saturated. They are not recommended for use on firm ground (FG), artificial grass (AG), or indoor surfaces, as this can damage the studs and outsole, and may lead to reduced performance or injury.
Care
Following proper care instructions is crucial for the longevity and performance of your boots:
- Immediate Cleaning: After each use, remove as much mud and debris as possible. Tap the soles together to dislodge larger clumps of mud.
- Wipe Down: Use a damp cloth to wipe down the entire boot, paying attention to the upper, studs, and soleplate. For stubborn dirt, a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) can be used on the studs.
- Gentle Cleaning (Optional): If necessary, use a small amount of mild soap mixed with water. Apply with a cloth and then wipe thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth to remove all soap residue.
- Drying: Air dry your boots at room temperature. Never place them near direct heat sources like radiators, heaters, or in direct sunlight, as this can cause the synthetic materials to crack or stiffen. Stuffing the boots with newspaper can help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Using a boot bag can protect them from dust and scratches.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check the studs for wear or damage. While replaceable studs aren't a feature on this model, ensuring they're clean and intact is important for traction.
