FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for running?
These trainers are primarily designed for daily movement and casual activity. They offer great cushioning, but are not specialized performance running shoes.
How do I choose the right size?
The shoes follow standard UK adult sizing. It is recommended to choose your typical adidas footwear size for the best fit.
Can I wear these in the rain?
Due to the open-lattice design, these shoes are not waterproof and will allow water to pass through the ventilation openings.
Is the material durable?
Yes, the 3D-printed lattice is constructed from high-quality, resilient materials designed to withstand regular daily wear.
How do I deep clean them?
For a deep clean, hand wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and allow to air dry completely.
Troubleshooting
Debris trapped in the lattice upper
Use a soft brush or compressed air to gently dislodge particles from the diamond openings.
Feeling of insufficient arch support
Ensure the shoe is tied correctly to secure the lattice upper; if discomfort persists, consider adding a thin aftermarket insole.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Superior breathability via lattice design
- Responsive cushioning adapts to stride
- Modern, high-tech aesthetic
- Flexible one-piece construction for comfort
Cons
- Lattice design can collect debris more easily
- Not intended for heavy-duty off-road use
- Limited water protection due to ventilation
Setup, Compatibility & Care
These trainers are ready to wear straight out of the box. Ensure you select your standard UK sizing, as the one-piece construction provides a snug, sock-like fit. To care for your Climacool Trainers:
- Routine Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dust or small particles from the diamond-shaped lattice openings.
- Spot Cleaning: If the material gets marked, wipe with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution.
- Drying: Air dry away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, to maintain the integrity of the 3D-printed structure.
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place to prevent material degradation over time.
