Full details
The adidas Climacool Laced trainers are designed for active adults who prioritize breathability and lightweight comfort for both urban commuting and light training. These sneakers utilize advanced Climacool technology to ensure consistent airflow, keeping feet cool and dry throughout the day. While they offer excellent ventilation and a sleek, modern aesthetic, they are best suited for dry-weather use due to the highly porous nature of the upper materials.

FAQs
Are these shoes machine washable?
It is generally recommended to clean them by hand to preserve the shape and the adhesive bonds of the shoe.
Can I wear these in the rain?
These shoes are not water-resistant due to the Climacool ventilation ports, so it is best to avoid wet weather.
Are these suitable for long-distance running?
These are designed for daily wear and light activity; for dedicated long-distance running, look for shoes with more specialized support.
Do they provide good arch support?
They offer standard support suitable for daily urban wear, but you can replace the existing insole with a custom orthotic if needed.
How do I know my size?
These follow standard UK sizing for adults. If you are between sizes, it is recommended to try them on with the socks you plan to wear most frequently.
Troubleshooting
Debris getting into the shoe through the ventilation holes
Avoid walking on loose sand or gravel surfaces to keep the interior clean.
Squeaking sound while walking
Ensure the insoles are properly seated and dry; moisture trapped under the insole can often cause noise.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Superior breathability in warm conditions
- Extremely lightweight construction
- Secure and adjustable lace-up fit
- Modern design suitable for casual and active wear
Cons
- Not suitable for wet or rainy conditions due to ventilation holes
- Limited water resistance
- Best for light activity rather than heavy-duty sports
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Climacool trainers last, follow these guidelines:
- Fit: These trainers utilize a standard lace-up system; pull the laces evenly to distribute tension across the bridge of the foot.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt from the upper. If necessary, use a mild soap and cold water solution with a cloth. Avoid submerging the shoes fully.
- Drying: Air dry your trainers in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not place them in a tumble dryer or directly near a heat source, as this may warp the structural integrity of the breathable materials.
- Care Tip: Because of the ventilation ports, avoid stepping in deep puddles or muddy terrain, as moisture and debris can easily enter the interior of the shoe.
