The Regatta Selenar Long Length Padded Jacket is designed for adult women seeking reliable warmth and extended coverage during cold-weather outdoor activities. Its primary benefit is the combination of a long-cut silhouette and high-performance feather-free insulation, which traps body heat efficiently to protect against harsh temperatures. While it offers excellent thermal retention and a weather-repellent finish, potential buyers should note that as a long-length garment, it may feel slightly more restrictive in range of motion compared to hip-length activewear jackets.

Yes, the Selenar jacket features a detachable hood that can be easily removed or reattached based on weather conditions.
The jacket features a water-repellent finish meant for light rain and snow, but it is not classified as fully waterproof for heavy downpours.
The jacket uses synthetic, feather-free insulation, making it a great choice for those who prefer an animal-friendly alternative to down.
It is best to use a specialized technical detergent to maintain the fabric's water-repellent properties and the performance of the synthetic insulation.
The jacket design includes two external zipped lower pockets for secure storage.
Ensure the inner zip guard is pulled away from the zipper path; never force the zip if it catches.
The synthetic fill may have compressed; laundering the jacket according to instructions and tumble drying on low with clean tennis balls can often restore its original loft.
The durable water-repellent (DWR) coating may need to be reapplied using a spray-on or wash-in DWR treatment.
To ensure the longevity of your Regatta Selenar jacket, always check the internal care label for specific washing instructions. Generally, synthetic-filled jackets should be washed on a gentle, cool cycle using a technical detergent designed for outerwear to avoid stripping the water-repellent finish. Do not bleach or iron. It is highly recommended to tumble dry on a low setting with dryer balls to help redistribute the insulation, preventing clumping. For storage, hang the jacket in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use for extended periods to preserve the color and material integrity.
