The Regatta Frankie Half Zip Fleece is an ideal layering garment for adult men seeking comfort during outdoor walks, travel, or everyday outings in fluctuating weather. Crafted from soft microfleece for warmth and reinforced with durable poplin panels, it offers a practical balance of insulation and protection; however, it is primarily designed as a mid-layer and may require a dedicated waterproof shell in heavy rain.

No, the Regatta Frankie Fleece is designed for warmth and breathability. While the poplin panels offer some protection, it is not a waterproof garment.
Yes, the slim profile of the microfleece makes it an excellent choice for layering under a waterproof shell.
Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle. Avoid fabric softeners and high-heat drying.
The microfleece has natural give for comfortable movement, but the poplin panels are non-stretch to ensure durability.
The garment is constructed from polyester, chosen for its durability, warmth-to-weight ratio, and quick-drying properties.
Use a fabric shaver or lint roller to gently remove pilling; avoid abrasive brushes that could damage the fleece.
Check the zipper teeth for trapped fabric or debris; if the mechanism is stiff, a small amount of graphite from a pencil lead can act as a dry lubricant.
Because this is a functional apparel piece, no setup is required beyond selecting the correct size. To ensure longevity, follow the care guidelines on the internal garment tag. Typically, polyester fleece should be machine washed on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colors. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can clog the fibers and reduce the fleece's natural wicking and insulating properties. Hang-drying is recommended over machine drying to maintain the structural integrity of the poplin panels and prevent shrinking.
