The Regatta Frankie Half Zip Fleece is designed for adult males seeking a durable, comfortable, and warm mid-layer for outdoor activities and everyday wear. Its key benefit is providing versatile protection against changing weather conditions through its combination of soft microfleece and protective poplin panels. A potential caveat is its specific sizing, so checking measurements is advised for the best fit. Key features include a zip neck for adjustable ventilation, a zipped chest pocket for secure storage, and stretch binding on the collar, cuffs, and hem for a snug fit.

The fleece is made from 70% polyester/30% polyester micro fleece fabric (210 gsm) and 63% polyester/37% polyester micro poplin with a PA coating (84 gsm).
The Frankie Half Zip Fleece is primarily designed as a mid-layer for warmth. While the poplin panels offer some protection, it is best used in conjunction with a waterproof or windproof outer layer in very cold or wet conditions.
Machine wash at 30°C with similar colors, do not bleach, and tumble dry on a low setting. Avoid high heat and harsh detergents.
It is suitable for activities like countryside walks. For high-intensity sports where significant sweating occurs, consider a more specialized moisture-wicking base layer underneath.
The tough micro poplin panels provide extra protection and durability, particularly in areas prone to abrasion, such as shoulders and elbows.
Yes, it features one zipped chest pocket for secure storage of small items.
The 'half zip' refers to the zipper that extends about halfway down the front of the garment. This allows for easy adjustment of ventilation and temperature control.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper. Gently pull the fabric away. Apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil) or wax to the zipper teeth.
Ensure you are following the care instructions precisely. Avoid harsh detergents or high heat drying, which can compress the fleece fibers and reduce insulation.
Inspect the area for any loose threads. If minor, trim carefully with scissors. For significant fraying, contact customer support for potential repair or warranty options.
Refer to the brand's specific size chart before purchasing. If the fit is consistently off, consider if a different size or model might be more suitable.
Setup: The Regatta Frankie Half Zip Fleece requires no setup; it is ready to wear upon purchase.
Compatibility: This fleece is designed as a mid-layer and is compatible with various outer shells (waterproof jackets, windbreakers) and base layers. It is suitable for adult males.
