The Regatta Frankie Half Zip Fleece is an ideal layering solution for adult men who need reliable warmth and durability during outdoor activities like hiking, traveling, or everyday wear. Crafted from soft microfleece with integrated tough poplin panels, it provides excellent thermal insulation and enhanced resistance in high-wear areas, though the polyester material is not specifically rated for heavy-duty waterproof protection.

While the microfleece provides warmth, it is not windproof; it is designed for layering under a windshell in exposed conditions.
The polyester fabric will offer some resistance to light moisture, but it is not waterproof and will absorb water during sustained rain.
Store it on a hanger to maintain the shape of the shoulders, or fold it neatly to save space in your pack.
The Regatta Frankie Fleece generally follows standard sizing, but it is designed for an active fit to ensure efficient heat retention when layered.
The reinforcement panels are made from durable poplin, designed to protect high-wear areas from abrasions.
Avoid washing with rough fabrics like denim or garments with Velcro, which can snag the microfleece fibers.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the zip track; if it remains stubborn, gently rub a graphite pencil lead along the teeth to lubricate the mechanism.
For optimal care, machine wash the garment at a low temperature using a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can degrade the moisture-wicking properties of the polyester fibers. To maintain the integrity of the poplin panels, tumble dry on a low heat setting or air dry away from direct sunlight. This fleece is fully compatible with most technical outdoor jackets and base layers, making it a versatile addition to any year-round wardrobe.
