Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Setting up your adidas Predator Elite Laceless FG boots is straightforward. Since they are laceless, there are no laces to tie. Simply slide your foot into the boot. The adidas Primeknit collar is designed to expand and adapt to your foot for a snug, sock-like fit. A shoehorn can be helpful initially to ease your foot into the boot, especially during the first few wears as the material molds to your foot.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are engineered to provide optimal traction and stability on natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. They are not recommended for use on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or extremely wet conditions, as this can lead to reduced performance and potential damage to the boots or injury to the player.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your Predator Elite boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe off any mud or dirt with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap and water solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive brushes.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct sunlight or use artificial heat sources like radiators or hairdry, as this can damage the synthetic materials.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Lacquer Finish: Please note that the lacquer finish on the bottom of the ControlFrame 2.0 soleplate may wear off during play. This is a normal cosmetic occurrence and will not affect the performance or durability of the product.
