The HOKA Clifton 10 is designed for adult runners and walkers seeking a plush, cushioned experience for daily training or all-day comfort. Celebrating a decade of engineering, this trainer delivers a exceptionally smooth ride through its signature MetaRocker geometry and responsive CMEVA midsole, though its maximalist aesthetic may not appeal to those who prefer minimalist or lightweight racing flats.

The Clifton 10 is a neutral shoe. While it provides excellent arch support, those with severe flat feet who require aggressive stability correction may prefer a dedicated stability model.
While the outsole provides good grip on roads, the Clifton 10 is optimized for pavement. For rugged, technical trails, a dedicated HOKA trail shoe would offer better protection and multi-directional lug patterns.
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Allow them to air dry away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Most users find the Clifton 10 to fit true to size. If you prefer extra room in the toe box for long runs, some users prefer to go up a half size.
The Clifton 10 features an improved jacquard upper for better breathability and enhanced heel cushioning compared to previous generations.
Adjust the laces using the runner's loop or 'lock lace' method to secure the heel firmly into the Rearfoot-focused Active Foot Frame.
Ensure you are using thin, moisture-wicking synthetic socks rather than thick cotton socks to allow the breathable jacquard upper to function correctly.
Foam compression is normal over time; ensure you rotate your shoes every 48 hours to allow the EVA foam time to recover its natural shape.
Proper care for your Clifton 10 will extend the life of the cushioning components. When first trying on the shoes, ensure the double-lace lock system is adjusted to provide a firm lockdown without creating pressure points across the midfoot. These trainers are designed for neutral runners; if you require specific arch support, the moulded `EVA` sockliner can be removed to accommodate custom orthotics. To clean the jacquard knit upper, use a soft brush to remove loose dirt and a damp cloth with mild soap for surface stains. Avoid submerging the shoes or placing them in a clothes dryer, as excessive heat can degrade the integrity of the foam midsole.
