Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Hoka Clifton 11 trainers, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: While these shoes are comfortable out of the box, perform a few shorter walks or runs to allow the foam to compress and conform to your foot anatomy.
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt from the mesh upper. Clean the midsole using a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using a washing machine, as high heat and heavy agitation can degrade the foam integrity.
- Drying: Always air dry in a cool, shaded area. Direct sunlight or heat sources like radiators can cause the EVA foam to warp and the adhesive bonds to weaken.
- Storage: Keep in a well-ventilated space to prevent odor build-up and material breakdown.
