This Mountain Warehouse Childrens/Kids Polar Zone Printed Jacket & Salopettes Set in Purple Floral, size 9-10, is designed for active children seeking warmth and water resistance. Its key benefit is providing a complete, insulated outfit for outdoor play. A potential caveat is the snug fit, which may require careful sizing for comfort. The set features a water-resistant and insulating polyester jacket with a fleece lining, a hooded design, and a full zip with a stormflap. The matching salopettes complete the ensemble, ensuring full coverage.

DWR stands for Durable Water Repellent. It's a coating applied to the fabric that causes water to bead up and roll off the surface, offering protection against light rain and snow.
No, the set features a DWR finish making it water-resistant, which is suitable for light rain or splashes. It is not designed to be fully waterproof for prolonged exposure to heavy rain.
To maintain the fleece lining, wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and high heat drying, as these can damage the fleece's texture and warmth.
Yes, the set is designed to be worn over base layers. However, due to its snug fit, layering very bulky items underneath might be restrictive. Consider sizing up if extensive layering is planned.
The set is made from 100% Polyester, with a Fleece lining.
Yes, the insulating fabric and fleece lining make it very warm. For extremely cold conditions, consider adding additional thermal layers underneath.
Ensure the stormflap is not caught in the zipper. Gently pull the fabric away from the zipper track. If it persists, apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) or a silicone-based lubricant to the zipper teeth.
Avoid using fabric softener. Ensure you are using a gentle wash cycle and avoid high heat drying. Gently brush the fleece with a soft brush after drying if needed.
The DWR finish may have worn off. Consider reapplying a DWR treatment suitable for polyester outdoor gear after washing and drying according to product instructions. Remember this is water-resistant, not fully waterproof.
Setup: This set requires no assembly. Simply unpack the jacket and salopettes and dress your child.
Compatibility: This set is designed for children and is unisex. It pairs well with warm base layers and sturdy footwear for outdoor activities.
