Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Saucony Peregrine 16 GTX remains in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Break-in: Wear your shoes on shorter, dry runs before attempting a long-distance excursion to allow the upper materials to adapt to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Remove excess mud after each use. Use a soft-bristled brush and lukewarm water. Avoid using harsh detergents or putting them in a washing machine, as these can compromise the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane.
- Drying: Always air dry naturally. Never place them near a heater or in direct sunlight, as high heat can warp the cushioning and damage the adhesive bonds.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the waterproofing technology.
