Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting started with your Oral-B Vitality Pro is straightforward, and maintaining it properly will ensure its longevity and optimal performance.
Setup
- Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge your toothbrush for at least 16 hours. Simply place the handle onto the charging unit. The charging indicator light (if present) will signal when it's charging. > Info needed: _Charging indicator behavior._
- Attach Brush Head: Firmly push your chosen Oral-B compatible brush head onto the handle's shaft until it clicks into place. Ensure it's fully seated to prevent it from coming loose during use.
Compatibility
- Brush Heads: The Oral-B Vitality Pro is compatible with a wide range of Oral-B electric toothbrush heads, including CrossAction, FlossAction, Precision Clean, Sensitive Clean, 3D White, and others designed for Oral-B oscillating-rotating brushes. Ensure you select genuine Oral-B brush heads for the best fit and performance.
- Charger: Use only the Oral-B charger provided with your device. Using unauthorized chargers may damage the battery or toothbrush.
Care
- After Each Use: Rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water with the handle turned on briefly. Then, remove the brush head and rinse both the head and the top part of the handle separately. Wipe the handle dry.
- Cleaning the Handle: Regularly wipe the handle with a damp cloth to remove any toothpaste residue. Do not submerge the handle in water.
- Charging Unit Care: Keep the charging unit dry and clean. Unplug it before cleaning.
- Replacing Brush Heads: Dentists recommend replacing your brush head every three months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed or worn. A worn brush head is less effective.
- Battery Maintenance: To maintain maximum battery capacity, unplug the charging unit and fully discharge the handle every 6 months. Then, recharge it completely.
- Storage: Store your toothbrush in a cool, dry place. If storing for an extended period, ensure it is fully charged before storage.
