Full details
The adidas Runfalcon 5 Trainers are designed specifically for infants who need reliable support during early development and active play. Featuring advanced Cloudfoam technology for superior cushioning and a secure, adjustable fit, these shoes are ideal for everyday use. While they provide excellent comfort and stability, parents should note that the textile and synthetic upper is best suited for casual play rather than heavy-duty outdoor trekking.

FAQs
Are these shoes machine washable?
It is recommended to spot clean with a damp cloth rather than machine washing to preserve the integrity of the Cloudfoam technology and adhesive.
Are they suitable for wider feet?
The regular fit combined with the adjustable hook-and-loop strap allows for a good amount of flexibility, making them suitable for most infant foot shapes.
What is the primary material used?
The upper is constructed from a blend of durable textiles and synthetics, paired with an EVA moulded sole.
Do they provide arch support?
Yes, the Cloudfoam sockliner and EVA midsole are designed to provide support for early development stages.
Are the laces functional?
The laces are elastic, meaning they provide a flexible, slip-on style fit that does not require tying.
Troubleshooting
Hook-and-loop strap loses stickiness
Remove lint or debris from the velcro teeth using a small brush or a pair of tweezers.
Foot slides inside the shoe
Ensure the elastic laces are pulled taut before securing the hook-and-loop strap to lock the midfoot in place.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Extremely easy to put on and take off due to the strap system
- Lightweight design prevents foot fatigue
- Cloudfoam provides high-quality shock absorption
- Durable EVA sole handles indoor and outdoor surfaces well
- Secure fit keeps the shoe from slipping off active infants
Cons
- Not intended for heavy-duty sports performance
- Textile upper may stain more easily than full-leather options
- Limited to specific infant size ranges
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the shoes is straightforward: simply adjust the hook-and-loop strap once the foot is inside to ensure a snug fit across the bridge of the foot.
Care Instructions:
- Wipe away surface dirt with a damp cloth.
- For deeper cleans, remove the sockliner if possible and air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent material warping.
- Avoid using harsh detergents or industrial washing machines, as this may degrade the synthetic bonding.
- Check the sole occasionally to remove small pebbles or debris that may lodge in the tread.
