No, Dulux Weathershield Smooth Masonry Paint is specifically formulated with high-performance acrylic resin for exterior masonry surfaces and is not recommended for interior use.
It is compatible with exterior masonry surfaces such as render, brick, and concrete. Ensure these surfaces are clean, dry, and sound before application.
If you are satisfied with the color, you can then confidently purchase a larger container of Dulux Weathershield Frosted Lake Smooth Masonry Paint to complete your project.
Clean your brushes and other painting tools thoroughly with clean water immediately after you finish using the paint.
Colors can appear differently based on lighting, surrounding elements, and existing wall color. Test the paint on a few different sections of your wall and observe it at various times of day. Consider how natural light, shadows, and nearby colors (e.g., roof tiles, garden foliage) might be influencing the perception of the shade.
Ensure the masonry surface was thoroughly cleaned and completely dry before application. Any dust, dirt, or loose particles can prevent proper adhesion. Also, ensure you stirred the paint well before applying to achieve a consistent texture and color. Apply an even coat with a brush.
Dulux Weathershield masonry paint features a unique micro-porous breathable film. This design allows moisture vapor and air to escape from your walls, preventing dampness and blistering, while simultaneously forming a barrier against rain. This is a key benefit of the Weathershield range.
The paint is formulated for direct use. Ensure it's thoroughly stirred before use. If you have concerns, refer to the full product instructions for larger containers, as tester pots are pre-mixed for direct application and usually don't require thinning.
