The Dunlop Protomastor Full Safety Wellington is a rugged, heavy-duty safety boot designed for professionals in agriculture, construction, and industrial environments who require robust protection against hazards. Featuring a steel toe cap and steel midsole, these boots excel in demanding conditions by guarding against impacts and sharp debris, though users should be aware that the PVC construction is designed primarily for utility rather than long-distance walking comfort.

The S5 rating signifies the boot has a toe cap, a penetration-resistant midsole, an antistatic heel, energy absorption, and a cleated outsole for better grip.
Yes, they are resistant to various chemicals, minerals, and oils, but check the specific data sheet for your chemicals to ensure compatibility.
Yes, they feature a fully waterproof PVC upper and sole construction, making them suitable for standing in shallow water.
These boots carry the SRA rating, meaning they have been tested and passed for slip resistance on ceramic tile floors covered with soap.
While the exterior is easily wiped clean, it is best to avoid fully immersing the inside; use a damp cloth to clean the interior and allow it to air dry.
The Protomastor uses a steel toe cap for maximum impact resistance.
Wear thicker, cushioned work socks to provide a barrier between your skin and the PVC lining.
Use a stiff-bristled brush while the mud is still soft, or hose off the outsole regularly to maintain the SRA slip resistance.
Remove the boots promptly after shifts and store them in a well-ventilated area to allow the interior to dry out properly.
The Protomastor is a pull-on boot, designed for ease of use. Ensure you are wearing thick work socks to prevent chafing, as PVC does not have the same flexibility as natural rubber. For care, keep the maintenance simple: wipe the boots clean with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight or near high heat sources, as prolonged exposure can dry out the PVC and lead to cracking. Ensure your socks are made of moisture-wicking material to keep your feet dry, as the synthetic lining does not breathe as effectively as premium leather or textile footwear.
