The Dunlop Acifort Heavy Duty Wellington boots are professional-grade safety footwear designed for industrial and hazardous environments, offering robust protection for workers who need reliable toe and chemical defense. Featuring a durable steel midsole and toecap, these boots excel in demanding settings, though their heavy-duty build may feel substantial for casual, all-day walking compared to lighter-weight footwear.

Yes, they are fully waterproof, making them ideal for muddy, wet, or flooded environments.
S5 indicates a steel toe, steel midsole, anti-static properties, and energy-absorbing heel, while SRA signifies slip resistance on ceramic surfaces tested with soap solution.
While they are overkill for basic gardening, they are excellent for heavy-duty landscaping and provide maximum protection against accidental shovel strikes.
There should be enough room to wiggle your toes comfortably while wearing your intended work socks, and the heel should not slip excessively when walking.
No, they provide basic chemical resistance due to their PVC/nitrile blend. Always check the specific chemical safety data sheet for your workplace to ensure compatibility.
Clean the outsole thoroughly with soap and water to remove compacted mud or oil residue that masks the tread pattern.
Ensure you are using high-quality moisture-wicking work socks and consider adding an aftermarket insole if the fit allows.
Because these are pull-on Wellington boots, no complex setup is required. Ensure you select the correct size (UK 13 in this instance) to allow for comfortable wear with thick work socks. For maintenance, simply hose off dirt and chemical residue after use, taking advantage of the easy-to-clean surface. Store the boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the PVC compound from degrading over time. Periodically inspect the outsole and upper for deep cuts or damage that could compromise your safety.
