While made from high-quality leather that offers some resistance, they are not classified as fully waterproof boots. Avoid prolonged submersion.
Wipe the interior lining gently with a damp cloth and mild soap, then allow it to air dry completely.
Yes, the footbed is removable, allowing you to insert custom orthotics if preferred.
Store them in a cool, dry place and use boot trees to help maintain their shape.
Yes, salt can cause leather to dry out and crack. Wipe off any road salt immediately after walking.
They generally follow standard UK sizing; however, individual fit may vary based on sock thickness.
Wear them indoors for a few hours with thicker socks to gently flex the leather and break in the footbed.
Use a specialized leather cleaner followed by a protective spray to restore the finish and provide moisture resistance.
Remove the OrthoLite footbed and allow the boots to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources.
These boots require no break-in period, though wearing them with medium-weight wool or cotton socks is recommended to optimize the comfort of the OrthoLite footbed. To ensure longevity, keep the leather clean by wiping away salt, dirt, and debris after use. Use a high-quality leather conditioner every few months to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Avoid storing the boots in direct sunlight or high-heat areas, as this can degrade the leather and the adhesives in the outsole over time.
