Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Britton Drive boots last for many seasons, proper maintenance is essential.
- Initial Protection: Before the first wear, apply a leather protector spray to guard against initial dirt and moisture.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristle brush to remove surface debris. For leather-specific stains, use a dedicated leather cleaner applied with a damp cloth.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees helps the leather maintain its shape.
- Insoles: The OrthoLite footbed can be removed if you need to insert custom orthotics or to air them out after heavy usage.
- Lacing: The recycled PET laces should be tightened evenly to ensure consistent support across the bridge of the foot.
