While the leather offers some natural resistance, they are not explicitly marketed as fully waterproof. It is recommended to use a leather water-repellent spray.
The side zip is designed for ease of entry and runs along the side of the boot to facilitate an effortless fit.
Yes, the OrthoLite Impressions footbeds are removable, allowing you to clean them or replace them with custom orthotics if preferred.
They are designed for a standard adult fit, but it is always advisable to refer to the size chart to ensure a perfect match for your specific foot length.
Regularly wipe with a damp cloth, use a leather conditioner to maintain moisture, and keep the boots out of extreme heat.
Ensure the internal fabric flap is not catching in the zipper teeth and apply a small amount of zipper lubricant if the track feels stiff.
Remove the OrthoLite insole, allow it to air out for 24 hours, or replace the insole with a fresh pair if compression has become permanent.
Use a leather conditioner or a buffing cloth matched to the boot color to gently smooth out and conceal minor surface abrasions.
To ensure your boots last, it is recommended to treat the leather with a protective spray before initial use to guard against moisture and dirt. Because these are tall boots, ensure you are wearing socks of appropriate length to prevent chafing along the calf. For cleaning, use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface debris, followed by a leather-safe cleaner for deeper stains. Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the leather from drying out or cracking. If the boots get wet, let them air dry naturally away from artificial heat sources like radiators, which can warp the material.
