Full details
Renovate and transform furniture with Rainbow Chalk’s Furniture Paint. This water-based paint has a matt finish and virtually no odour. It can be used directly onto Wood (bare or painted), brick, stone, plaster or any suitably primed rigid surface like metal or plastic. To achieve a distressed look, apply two coats in contrasting colours then sand or score when dry. This 100ml pot of 'Hot Cup Of' Furniture Paint requires preparation by ensuring the surface is clean and free from wax or oil. For best results, bare wood should be sanded before painting. Stir thoroughly prior to use. The paint can be applied by brush or roller. Apply evenly following the grain of the wood when using a brush, or a short nap mohair roller. Coverage is up to 12m² per litre, but may vary. It is touch dry in 1 hour and handleable after 2 hours. A second coat can be applied after 2 hours if necessary. Full hardness is achieved after 24 hours. Clean up with water. Do not empty into drains or water courses.
