The Vans Old Skool Mule is an ideal footwear choice for adults seeking a blend of iconic skate aesthetics and slip-on convenience. By transforming the classic Old Skool silhouette into a backless mule, these shoes offer effortless on-and-off wearability without sacrificing the signature checkered style that defines the brand. While they provide excellent casual comfort, the open-heel design means they are best suited for relaxed environments rather than high-performance athletic activities.

No, the Old Skool Mule is designed as a casual lifestyle shoe. The open-heel design does not provide the support or foot security needed for skateboarding.
Most users find the mule silhouette comfortable immediately, though the canvas material may soften slightly with consistent wear.
The Vans Old Skool Mule generally fits true to size. Refer to your standard UK sneaker size for the best fit.
Yes, they can be worn with or without socks depending on your personal preference and the climate.
These shoes are not waterproof. It is best to avoid wearing them in heavy rain to prevent staining or material damage.
Ensure you are wearing the correct size, as mules can feel loose if the length is too large for your foot.
Use a specialized sneaker cleaning solution or a mild mixture of water and gentle soap with a soft cloth to spot-clean the area.
These shoes are ready to wear right out of the box with no specific setup required. To maintain their appearance, clean them periodically by wiping the surface with a damp cloth. For tougher stains on the fabric sections, a gentle soft-bristled brush with mild soap can be used. Avoid machine washing or drying, as high heat and submersion can damage the structural integrity and the adhesive bonds of the sole. Store them in a cool, dry place when not in use to preserve the materials.
