The Vans Old Skool Mule is an ideal choice for adults seeking a blend of iconic skate aesthetics and the convenience of a slip-on design. This low-top shoe features the classic checkered pattern and durable construction, making it perfect for casual, everyday wear; however, because of the open-back mule construction, it may not be suitable for high-intensity physical activities that require secure heel support.

These shoes are ready to wear right out of the box. Because they are constructed from cotton, it is important to treat them with a water-repellent spray if you plan on wearing them in damp conditions. To clean, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt or a damp cloth with mild soap for localized spots. Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can degrade the structure and the bond between the upper and the sole. Always store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the white canvas from yellowing.
