The Vans Old Skool Mule is designed for adults who prioritize effortless style and convenience in their daily footwear. By reimagining the iconic Old Skool silhouette as a slip-on mule, this shoe offers an easy on-and-off experience that maintains a classic aesthetic, though it lacks the heel security of a traditional laced sneaker.

While they feature the Old Skool aesthetic, the lack of heel containment makes them less secure than traditional lace-up skate shoes for high-intensity skating.
These shoes generally run true to standard adult sizing, but individual fit preferences may vary depending on sock thickness.
It is not recommended to machine wash your Vans as it can damage the adhesives and material structure. Hand cleaning is preferred.
Yes, they are designed to be worn as mules, though wearing no-show socks can help with moisture management and comfort.

Ensure your size is accurate; because mules lack heel support, a loose fit can feel unstable while walking.
Use a soft-bristle brush or a damp sponge with mild soap to gently scrub the canvas surfaces.
These shoes require no "setup" or breaking in of complex lacing systems, as they are a slip-on design. Regarding compatibility, they are best paired with casual wear like jeans, shorts, or joggers. To maintain your shoes, wipe them down with a damp cloth to address dirt on the canvas or rubber sole. Avoid submerging them in a washing machine, as this can degrade the glue and structural integrity of the shoe. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources to preserve the shape of the materials.
