The PUMA Deviate Nitro 4 Running Shoes are designed for male adult runners seeking to dominate long distances at high speeds. With advanced NITROFOAM™ ELITE cushioning and a full-length PEBAX plate, these shoes offer explosive energy return and unmatched propulsion. A key benefit is their ultra-breathable upper, ensuring lightness and comfort. A potential caveat is the customizable grip, which may require adjustment for optimal performance across different courses. Key features include nitrogen-infused foam, a lightweight design, and a standard fit.

While they offer excellent performance, their speed-focused design and responsive cushioning are best appreciated by intermediate to advanced runners. Beginners might prefer a more forgiving shoe initially.
The foam is best cleaned by wiping with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh detergents or soaking the shoes, as this can degrade the materials over time.
Different Deviate Nitro models often feature variations in foam compounds, plate thickness or material, and upper construction to target specific performance characteristics or runner needs.
While comfortable, their performance-oriented design means they are best reserved for running activities to preserve their cushioning and structural integrity for optimal athletic use.
The PEBAX plate is designed for durability during running. Its lifespan is typically linked to the overall mileage of the shoe, generally expected to perform optimally for several hundred miles.
Yes, the PUMA Deviate Nitro 4 features a customizable grip system, allowing you to adapt the traction to various running surfaces for enhanced performance and stability.
These trainers are specifically designed for long-distance running, road racing, and tempo runs, focusing on speed, energy return, and comfort over extended mileage.
Ensure you have ordered your standard UK size. If a half size is available and needed, consider exchanging. Adjust laces for a secure, comfortable fit without over-tightening.
Check the outsole for debris. If applicable, re-evaluate the customizable grip settings for wetter conditions. Note that all running shoes have reduced grip on extremely wet surfaces.
Verify the fit and lace tension. Ensure the upper's breathability is not impeded. If the issue persists after several uses, the shoe's fit profile might not be ideal for your foot shape.
NITROFOAM™ ELITE cushioning requires a short break-in period. Run at least 10-15 miles to allow the foam to adapt to your stride and soften.
