Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Salomon X-Alp trainers maintain their performance, follow these guidelines:
- Initial Fit: Ensure you have a thumb's width of space at the front of the shoe to prevent pressure on toes during declines.
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather surface with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or industrial detergents.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators or fireplaces, which can crack or stiffen the leather.
- Maintenance: Occasionally apply a leather conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent it from drying out over time.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the rubber sole and the leather upper.
