Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Choose the Right Size: Ensure the boots fit snugly but comfortably, allowing for proper foot movement without excessive pressure points. Always try them on with the type of socks you'll wear during play.
- Break-In Period: Like most football boots, a short break-in period may be beneficial. Wear them during lighter training sessions before competitive matches to adapt to their fit and feel.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means natural grass fields that are generally dry and firm. Using them on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces is not recommended as it can compromise performance, durability, and potentially lead to injury.
Care
Proper care extends the life and performance of your boots:
- Clean After Each Use: Immediately after playing, knock off any loose dirt or grass. Use a soft brush or damp cloth to wipe down the synthetic upper and soleplate.
- Remove Insole: If possible, remove the insoles after play to allow them and the inside of the boot to air dry, preventing odor buildup.
- Air Dry: Do not dry boots directly in sunlight or with artificial heat sources (like radiators or dryers), as this can damage the synthetic materials. Air dry them at room temperature.
- Store Properly: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving them in a football bag, as moisture can lead to degradation.
- Refer to Instructions: For specific material care, always refer to any product instructions provided with your boots.
