Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced snugly but not too tightly, allowing for comfortable movement of the foot. Double-knotting can help prevent laces from coming undone during play.
- Break-in Period: Like most new football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Encourage your child to wear them for short periods during light training sessions before a full match to allow the boots to mold to their feet.
Compatibility
- Pitch Type: These boots feature a firm ground (FG) outsole, making them specifically compatible with natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. They are not recommended for artificial turf, wet/muddy soft ground, or indoor surfaces, as this can affect performance and damage the boots or pitch.
- Player Age/Level: Designed for kids, suitable for all skill levels from beginners to more advanced young players.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your adidas Predator Elite boots:
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove loose dirt and grass from the outsole and upper using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not dry them near direct heat sources (like radiators or in direct sunlight), as this can cause materials to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper to help maintain their shape.
- Product Instructions: Always refer to the specific care instructions provided with the product for detailed guidance on cleaning and maintenance specific to the materials used.
