Product Information

Full details

The Nike Tanjun EasyOn is designed for adults seeking a versatile, everyday trainer that prioritizes effortless wearability and lightweight comfort. Perfect for active individuals who value a quick, "step-in" experience without sacrificing style or support, these sneakers excel in casual environments. One caveat to keep in mind is that while the EasyOn design enhances convenience, it is primarily optimized for lifestyle use rather than high-impact athletic training.

FAQs

Are these shoes machine washable?

Nike generally recommends hand cleaning with a damp cloth. Machine washing can compromise the structural integrity and adhesive bond of the shoes.

How do the EU sizes map to UK sizes?

The product range includes various UK sizes that map to specific EU standards. Always check your specific shoe tag or the provided product description to confirm your EU size equivalent.

Are these suitable for long-distance running?

The Tanjun is classified as a lifestyle and casual trainer. For long-distance running, Nike recommends their dedicated running series which offers specialized cushioning and impact protection.

Can I replace the insoles?

Yes, if the insole is removable, you can replace it with orthotics or inserts to customize your fit and support needs.

Do these shoes run true to size?

Most users find the Tanjun series to run true to size. If you prefer a looser fit or intend to wear thick socks, some users recommend sizing up by a half size.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty getting the shoe on initially

The EasyOn entry can be tight when new. Ensure you are utilizing the heel-pull mechanism if available and allow the flexible upper material to mold to your foot shape over the first few wears.

Outer sole picking up small stones

The tread pattern is designed for grip but can occasionally trap pebbles. Inspect the bottom of the shoe after walking on gravel and dislodge any debris using a soft brush.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely quick to put on and take off
Lightweight and breathable materials
Versatile black aesthetic for diverse styling
Consistent and reliable sizing across the series

Cons

Not intended for high-intensity sports or heavy running
Minimal arch support compared to dedicated performance shoes
Black fabric may show dust more easily than other colors

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Nike Tanjun shoes maintain their condition, perform the following care steps:

Cleaning: Gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth using mild soap and water to remove dirt or debris. Avoid soaking the shoes.
Drying: Air dry the shoes at room temperature away from direct sunlight or high-heat sources, which can warp the materials.
Storage: Keep your shoes in a cool, dry area when not in use.
Compatibility: These are unisex-inspired designs tailored for adult sizing. Refer to standard Nike sizing charts, noting that these models are provided in EU sizes for accurate matching to UK specifications.
