FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for running?
The Tanjun EasyOn is designed for casual, everyday wear and light walking; it does not provide the stability or energy return required for dedicated running.
Can I put these in the dryer?
No, heat from the dryer can damage the adhesive and the stretch properties of the upper material. Always air dry.
How should I clean the white portions of the sole?
A magic eraser or a mixture of baking soda and water applied with an old toothbrush works well to remove scuffs from the white rubber.
Is the material waterproof?
The stretch material is breathable and is not intended for use in wet or rainy conditions.
Does this shoe provide arch support?
The shoe offers basic underfoot cushioning, but it is not a dedicated orthopedic trainer with specialized arch support features.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too loose after a few weeks of wear
The stretch material may require a slight tightening of any existing adjustment points or can benefit from removing the inner sock liner for a quick clean to restore fit.
Outer sole picking up debris
Use a toothpick or small brush to dislodge pebbles or dirt caught in the grooves of the waffle outsole to maintain optimal traction.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Extremely convenient slip-on design
- Breathable and adaptive upper material
- Lightweight construction reduces fatigue
- Solid grip provided by the durable outsole
Cons
- Not intended for high-intensity sports
- Limited lateral support for agility training
- Stretchy upper may loosen over extended periods of heavy use
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Nike Tanjun EasyOn trainers remain in peak condition, follow these guidelines:
- Initial Fit: Ensure the stretch upper sits flush against your foot without excessive pressure; the material will naturally adapt after the first few wears.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove loose dirt from the outsole. For the upper, gently wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid fully submerging the shoes in water or using a washing machine, as this may compromise the structural integrity of the stretch fibers.
- Air Drying: Always allow your shoes to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the cushioning materials.
